Welcome to the WNHS Adult Living Wiki!
1. Set up your own page in this wiki. See Pages and Files at left, and click on the PLUS SIGN. in the field "Page Name", type your first name and last initial. Skip the tags. Click CREATE.
2. Type "Welcome to Sandy's Page" at the top (use your own name).
3. Create a section called, "What I Already Know". List any aspects of "adult living" with which you have already had experience, and feel comfortable sharing publicly on the Internet. (see the EXAMPLE PAGE at left)
4. Create a section called, "Technology Resources". List the units that we will be studying in this course by copying this list from the home page and pasting on your own page.

UNIT 4: Cooking, Food Prep & Safety
UNIT 5: Careers & Housing UNIT 6: Relationships & Communication

As we progress through the semester, you will create a list of TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES under each unit name. Find 3 Internet resources pertaining to each unit that you find informative and helpful.
Create a hyperlink to each page, along with a 3-4 sentence summary of what the page is about or why it is a valuable resource. THESE ARE DUE ON THE LAST DAY OF EACH UNIT.
EXAMPLE: UNIT 1: Decision-Making / Values / Goals
Interactive Goal Setting:This is a great site because it is interactive and informative. It leads you step by step through the process of setting great life goals. Because it is interactive, you can personalize the information to fit your own responses. If you have clear goals established, you are more likely to achieve them.
